• "Eu sunt Domnul Dumnezeul tău, Care te-a scos din pământul Egiptului și din casa robiei. Să nu ai alți dumnezei afară de Mine!"
• "Să nu-ți faci chip cioplit și nici asemănare a vreunui lucru din câte sunt în cer, sus, și din câte sunt pe pământ, jos, și din câte sunt în apele de sub pământ! Să nu te închini lor, nici să le slujești lor! Căci Eu, Domnul Dumnezeul tău, sunt un Dumnezeu zelos, care pedepsesc pe copii pentru vina părinţilor ce Mă urăsc pe Mine, până la al treilea şi al patrulea neam, și Mă milostivesc până la al miilea neam de cei ce Mă iubesc şi păzesc poruncile Mele!"
• "Să nu iei numele Domnului Dumnezeului tău în deșert, că nu va lăsa Domnul nepedepsit pe cel ce ia în deșert numele Lui!"
• Adu-ți aminte de ziua odihnei, ca să o sfințești. Lucrează șase zile și-ți fă în acelea toate treburile tale, iar ziua a șaptea este odihna Domnului Dumnezeului tău; să nu faci în acea zi nici un lucru: nici tu, nici fiul tău, nici fiica ta, nici sluga ta, nici slujnica ta, nici boul tău, nici asinul tău, nici orice dobitoc al tău, nici străinul care rămâne la tine. Că în șase zile a făcut Domnul cerul și pământul, marea și toate cele ce sunt într-însele, iar în ziua a șaptea S-a odihnit. De aceea a binecuvântat Domnul ziua a șaptea și a sfințit-o”
• "Cinstește pe tatăl tău și pe mama ta, ca să-ți fie bine și să trăiești ani mulți pe pământul pe care Domnul Dumnezeul tău ți-l va da ție!"
• "Să nu ucizi!"
• "Să nu preacurvești!"
• "Să nu furi!"
• "Să nu mărturisești strâmb împotriva aproapelui tău!"
• "Să nu dorești casa aproapelui tău; să nu dorești femeia aproapelui tău, nici ogorul lui, nici sluga lui, nici slujnica lui, nici boul lui, nici asinul lui și nici unul din dobitoacele lui și nimic din câte are aproapele tău!"

The Decalogue - The 10 Commandments

• “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me!"
• “You shall not make for yourself an idol or a likeness of anything in heaven above, or in the earth beneath, or in the waters under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, recompensing the sins of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me; but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments!"
• “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain!"
• “Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: neither you, nor your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, your cattle, nor your stranger who sojourns with you. For in six days the Lord made heaven and the earth, the sea, and everything in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore, the Lord blessed the Sabbath Day and hallowed it!"
• “Honor your father and mother that it may be well with you, and your days may be long upon the good land the Lord your God is giving you!"

• “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor!"
• “You shall not covet your neighbour’s wife or his house, and neither shall you covet his field, nor his male servant, his female servant, his ox, his donkey, any of his cattle, or whatever belongs to your neighbour!”
