Emotional Causes of Diseases and How to Remove them
Examples relating to psycho-somatic causes of conditions / 'diseases'
There are writings both older and newer that deal with this subject.
Among the oldest would be Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine and the writings of Herodotus, who said of the Dacians that "they did not treat the body before curing the soul ".
Among the newest, people with mission, vision, love of fellow men and divine grace: Valeriu Popa, Petre Anca, Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer, Brandon Bays, Lise Bourbeau.
Their ideas and understanding have been picked up by many, and somehow the authentic source is undefined. I believe that they all started from the Truth of the human being and contributed with their work of research, systematization, dissemination and/or application, implementation. I have the honour of having personally known three of them.
==============
Again: the following represents my perspective, given by knowledge and experience at the time of writing.
----------------
Over 98% of ailments, phobias, allergies, illnesses/diseases have root causes of an emotional nature.
These are of two kinds: emotional shocks, as defined by Dr. Hamer, and enduring emotional conflicts
. The effects are the same, the approach is similar and so are the solutions.
The main characteristics of emotional shock according to Dr. Hamer are:
1. Relevance: the event causing the emotional shock has a significant personal meaning for the one who experiences it.
2. Acuteness: The event is perceived as very intense and overwhelming.
3. Unpredictability: The event is unexpected; it appears suddenly, without warning, and catches the person completely unprepared.
4. Isolation: The person feels alone and unable to discuss or share the conflict with others or has no one to share with for the first 4 minutes after the event occurred.
5. Non-immediate resolution: The conflict cannot be resolved quickly and continues to persist in the individual's consciousness, affecting his emotional and physical state.
Appearance | Emotional Conflict | Emotional Shock |
Definition | Internal tension and discomfort due to conflicting situations, thoughts, or feelings. | Acute and intense psychological reaction to an sudden, unexpected and traumatic event. |
Duration | It can last from a few days to months or years. | Usually short-lived; intensive. |
CAUSE |
Divergences between desires and reality, conflicting values, personal needs versus social expectations, conflicts in relationships.
|
Traumatic, relevant, unexpected events experienced in solitude, without an immediate resolution, unexpected (death of a loved one, accidents, natural disasters, violence). |
Events |
Emotional blockage. Anxiety, depression, irritability, difficulty concentrating, muscle tension, joint disorders, including the large ones (pelvis, spine and hip) digestive problems. Self esteem has quite a role here. |
Emotional blockage. Shock, confusion, severe anxiety, panic, emotional numbness, detachment from reality, sleep problems, acute physiological reactions (shaking, excessive sweating, palpitations). |
SOLVING |
Therapy, counseling, self-reflection, communication, relaxation techniques, removal of stimulus. Removing emotional blockages. |
Immediate intervention, psychological support, therapy, counselling, crisis interventions, support from family and friends. Removing emotional blockages. |
Examples of emotional conflicts:
- Conflict between desires and reality: The desire to have a successful career versus the need to spend more time with the family.
- Conflict of values: The choice between acting according to one's own moral principles and following a path that brings material or social benefits.
- Conflict in relationships: The feeling of love and affection towards a person that causes frustration and suffering at the same time.
- Conflict between personal needs and social expectations: The need to take a break and rest versus the pressure to always be productive and perform.
Here are some examples:
Emotional Conflicts in Relationships
- Need for Intimacy vs. the feeling of 'duty':
• A person may feel the need to have time and space for himself, and at the same time feel that he has a duty to be with his family.
- Fidelity vs. External Attraction:
• A person in a committed relationship may experience attraction to someone else, creating a conflict between the desire to remain faithful and the temptation to explore a new relationship.
Emotional Conflicts at Work
- Professional Ambition vs. Work-Life Balance:
• An employee may want to advance their career and gain professional recognition and earn more money, including for their family, but at the same time they may feel that the time spent on this negatively affects their personal life and time spent with their family. Similarly in the case of an entrepreneur.
- Professional Ethics vs. Business Pressures:
• An employee may feel pressure from superiors to make decisions that go against his ethical principles, generating a conflict between integrity and compliance.
Emotional Conflicts Related to Family
- Loyalty to Parents vs. Desire for Independence:
• A person may feel a strong duty to care for elderly parents, but at the same time may want to follow their own dreams and live independently or be with their own family
- Family Traditions vs. Modern Views:
• A person may feel pressure to adhere to family traditions and values, while wanting to adopt a modern or different approach to life of their own.
Personal Emotional Conflicts
- The Need for Self-Actualization vs. Fear of Failure:
• A person can have big dreams and the desire to achieve personally and professionally, while at the same time being paralyzed by the fear of failure and the unknown.
- Self-acceptance vs. Social Expectations:
• A person may struggle to accept their personal identity and appearance while facing social pressures to conform to external standards of beauty, attitude, and behavior.
Emotional Conflicts in Personal Development
- Desire for Stability vs. Need for Adventure:
• A person may want, or feel constrained by, a stable and secure life, but at the same time may feel a strong desire and need to explore the world and experience new things.
- Compliance vs. Originality:
• A person may feel pressure to conform to social norms and expectations, but at the same time may want to express their individuality and unique creativity.
THE CHOICE, THE ACT OF CHOOSING AND RESPECTING THE CHOICE MADE, FREES!
All 5 of the above believe that recognizing, accessing, and resolving emotional conflict is essential to healing and preventing disease, arguing that treating psychological causes can lead to remission of physical symptoms.
The most common methods of dealing with psychological causes are:
- removing the stimulus (according to Dr. Hamer)
- dissolving the emotional blockage (Journey method - Brandon Bays)
- energetic approach to these blockages (e.g. attunements, activations and Modern Mystery School therapies)
The last two can take place in a larger setting that will include others in The 7 Directions.
THE MECHANISM OF SOMATIZATION OF EMOTIONAL BLOCKAGES
1. A situation arises, and emotional shock or conflict sets in;
2. Emotional blockage occurs at the level of an organ corresponding to personal, group or universal symbolism;
3. A 'Hamerian focus' appears on the cerebral cortex, a circular-elliptical reaction zone, projected on the organ where the emotional blockage was created;
4. The next place where the effects are propagated is the person's energetic aura, more precisely, an impairment, a weakening of the aura at the level of the organ where the emotional blockage appeared;
5. Somatization: signs, embarrassment, malfunctions appear of the respective organ or member, first discreet, then increasingly obvious, disturbing and then, sometimes, painful.
The beauty is that in any of these stages you intervene, the effects can diminish or even disappear in the urn of your own choice to look, accept and do something, directly and personally, to change that state.
Why do babies or small and very small children end up in desperate, incomprehensible situations?
The child is the image, the projection, the materialization of the energy of the parents, both individually and, above all, of the energy of the couple.
If we are talking about birth parents and guardians, everyone is involved here.
The energy and state of the child is given by those directly involved in his life.
It is the energy of the couple who conceived or who is raising the child that determines its qualities, even its appearance. The child is conceived in the form and qualities of the energy fields of the parent couple.
A newborn may have an Abgar index of 10, but internal, functional or structural / emotional be 5.
If one of the parents defined as above is going through such episodes - shocks or conflicts - or, especially, the couple is in suffering, so is the child.
Not by chance, the level / location of the blockage, respectively of its somatization, is related to the nature and level of shock or emotional conflict of the couple or parent.
In other words, less emergencies, the real healing of a child begins with the healing of the parents.
1. Valeriu Popa and Petre Anca:
• Theories: They promoted the idea that physical diseases are the result of energetic and emotional imbalances. Their treatments were based on detoxification, healthy eating and energy balancing.
• Examples: Liver problems could be related to repressed anger, and stomach ailments to anxiety or fear.
2. Dr. Hamer (New Germanic Medicine):
• Theory: Dr. Hamer proposed that physical diseases are triggered by unresolved psychological conflicts, each organ being affected by a certain type of conflict.
• Example: Breast cancer could be related to separation conflicts or problems related to maternal care - aka being able to take care of the children. In this respect often the partner, usually the husband, is perceived as a child to be taken care of.
3. Brandon Bays:
• Theory: In her book “The Journey”, Bays suggests that deep emotional healing can lead to physical healing. His method involves accessing and releasing emotional trauma stored in the body.
• Example: Emotional healing can lead to the remission of chronic or acute diseases.
4. Lise Bourbeau:
• Theory: Bourbeau claims that every disease has a specific emotional cause, detailed in his book "Listen to your body, your best friend".
• Example: Back problems can be related to a lack of emotional support or feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities.
